PEP725 offers a constantly growing list of observed plants that are described by genus, species, subspecies or cultivar.

Within the project, we aim to share as much information as possible about each observation. In many cases, the variety of the observed plant is not specified. In such instances, the observation is filed under the plant’s genus and species. In some cases, we only know the plant’s genus.

When working with these observations, it is recommended to start with the broadest possible categories (i.e., at the genus or species level, depending on the research question) and then filter out any unwanted observations.

Note: We have not received observations for all defined plants. The last column (COUNT) shows the number of observations currently available.
